POLICIES

Tax
All orders outside Illinois are exempt from sales tax. Illinois residents are required to pay 6.5%.

Shipping
Standard shipping is UPS Ground which will be calculated as soon as the items are packaged. You will be billed for UPS shipping and handling as the order ships out. For an additional price, Next Day Air, Second Day Air and Three Day Select is available. Please call the Shipping Department for special shipping costs.

All Alaskan and Hawaiian orders are shipped via UPS Second Day Air delivery whenever possible. UPS shipping charges depend on the items being ordered. Contact our Shipping Department for exact rates.

Shipping price of all products will be calculated by The Parts Place, Inc. when products are packaged for delivery. All products will be shipped in the most economical manner. You will then receive an email including the actual shipping total and tracking number. This will be done at the time of packaging.

All Fenders, Quarter Panels, Doors, Deck lids, and some Bumpers or oversized items will be shipped by truck freight.

Truck Freight
Some products in this catalog require truck freight because they are too large for UPS. The freight charges need to be paid at time of delivery. A business address is strongly recommended to avoid residential delivery fees. Please call the Shipping Department for pricing.

Damage Claims
Always check the contents of your shipment in the presence of the person delivering the merchandise. Should any damage occur, immediately notify UPS or the truck freight company delivering your goods so that all steps necessary will be taken to ensure a prompt replacement of any damaged goods. Notify The Parts Place Shipping Department for instructions on returning damaged goods. The Parts Place is not responsible if no notification is given within three days of receipt.

Shortages
Always check the contents of your delivery to assure all the parts ordered were received. If you are missing any item(s) be sure check for back orders notated on your invoice before calling our Shipping Department. If a shortage has occurred, than contact our Shipping Department within three days of delivery to assure a prompt replacement. The Parts Place assumes no liability after this period.

Returns
Products may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt. All returns are subject
to a 25% restocking fee. Should you need to return a part for a refund, exchange or credit, please call the shipping department for a return authorization number and instructions. The Parts Place will not accept returned goods without prior authorization. Customer will pay freight on all return orders.

Pricing
The Parts Place Inc. reserves the right to change pricing at the time of order, dependent on market conditions. Prices are subject to change. Errors and or omissions in prices listed will not be honored  at time of order. Thank you for your cooperation.
