WHY BOTHER REPLACING YOUR CARBURETOR SHAFT WHEN YOU CAN BUY A BRAND NEW KIT? YOU MAY NEED TO REUSE YOUR EXISTING REAR BRACKET OR ORDER PART NUMBER TP21718G. BEFORE INSTALLING THIS BASEPLATE GM RECOMMENDS DAG213 CARB THROTTLE PLATE SEALER ON ALL TRI-POWER FRONT & REAR CARBS. THEY USED THE SEALER BECAUSE THE FRONT & REAR CARBS DID NOT HAVE AN IDLE CIRCUIT & THEY MAY HAVE LEAKING & CAUSE ROUGH IDLE CONDITIONS.
