THIS ELBOW ALLOWS YOU TO MOUNT THE OVERSIZED FACTORY OIL PRESSURE SWITCH TO YOUR BLOCK WITHOUT INTERFERENCE. WITHOUT THIS ELBOW THERE IS NO WAY TO MOUNT THE SENDING UNIT. THIS BLOCK IS MADE JUST LIKE THE FACTORY PIECE. THIS IS NOT A CHEAP AFTERMARKET ADAPTER BLOCK, THIS IS WHAT GM USED WHEN THEY ASSEMBLED THE CAR AT THE FACTORY
