CHROME CONSOLE DOOR TOP INSERT - WE HAVE REPRODUCED THE CORRECT CHROME CONSOLE DOOR TOP INSERT FOR AUTOMATIC. THE BACK SIDE OF THE DOOR HAS TWO PLASTIC STUDS - THESE ARE TO MOUNT THE CHROME INSERT TO THE EXISTING PLASTIC DOOR. THESE PLASTIC STUDS LINE UP WITH THE HOLES THAT ARE IN THE DOOR AND NEED TO BE MELTED TO HOLD TIGHTLY AGAINST THE DOOR. THIS IS THE WAY GM INSTALLED IT. WE RECOMMEND A SOLDERING IRON TO MELT THE POST DOWN. WOODGRAIN NOT INCLUDED. PLEASE SEE OUR NEW WOODGRAIN INSERT AVAILABLE FOR THE CONSOLE.
