1972 Pontiac Firebird/TransAm SHAKER AIR CLEANER SINGLE SNORKEL WITH LID - 1 HEAT DIAPHRAGM

Reproduction single snorkel air cleaner for 1970-72 Trans Am with Ram Air III and HO 400 / 455 engines. A single snorkel air cleaner; 1 heat diaphragm, set up to accept the functional shaker hood scoop. The two tabs on the air cleaner secure the scoop to the base. Includes correct domed air filter lid. Measurements for carburetor hole are I.D. 4-15/16" O.D. 5-1/4". Replaces GM part number # 6486668.

Note: Refer to part number # CB21709C for air filter (available separately).

Additional Information:

Can be used on 1973-76 models but, you will need to use the 1970-72 style Shaker Scoop; part #: BP12302F.
